Marketplace items ship via USPS from our store in Santa Ynez, CA. Orders are processed, packaged, and shipped within 3-5 business days. 

All items ship with insurance against damage. In the unfortunate event your item(s) arrive damaged, we will be happy to help you file a claim. We must be notified via email home@josephinela.com with multiple, clear images of packaging and damaged items attached within 48 hours of delivery.

We are not responsible for shipping delays beyond our control.

 

Online Marketplace Item Return Policy

  • Sale Items All sales are final. Orders can not be canceled after payment is processed.
  • Vintage & Antique Items All sales are final. Orders can not be canceled after payment is processed.
  • Tea and Pantry Products All sales are final. Orders can not be canceled after payment is processed.
  • Eligible Items Items purchased online may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition and product packaging to our Santa Ynez location within 14 days of purchase. Please contact us via email at home@josephinela.com before shipping items back to us for address and instructions. 
  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs for returns or exchanges. Please package items with care and obtain tracking information, as we are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. Refunds can only be credited to the original form of payment.

Made-to-Order Pillows & Cushions

Custom pillows and cushions ship via USPS from our studio in Los Angeles. Orders are processed, packaged, and shipped within 3-5 business days.

All made-to-order product sales are final and not return/refundable. Orders can not be canceled once payment is processed.

Furniture, Lighting, & Rugs

Delivery

These products are currently available for local delivery in Los Angeles and the Santa Ynez Valley only. One of our team members will contact you when your items are ready to schedule delivery. Local delivery is calculated and billed separately. Please contact us for a shipping estimate prior to purchasing, if required.

 

It is your responsibility to verify building access and ensure furniture will fit through doorways, stairways and elevators. If a delivery attempt is made and the furniture does not fit, the delivery fee and order charge can not be refunded, unfortunately.

 

We offer delivery through a third party delivery company. The delivery team will place item/s in the room of your choice and remove, and dispose of packing materials.

 

The area for furniture placement should be clear and prepared to receive the delivery. We are not responsible for the moving or removal of existing furniture in a customer's home. 

 

An authorized adult, age 18 or over, must be present during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt.

 

Carefully inspect your merchandise at the time of delivery. Damage, defects, or deficiencies must be noted on the Delivery ticket. Any characteristics of handmade furniture will not be considered a defect. The driver will contact Josephine Home management to resolve any issues.

 

In the unlikely event that our delivery professionals damage your home or property, you must report the damage in writing on the delivery ticket. We will not be held responsible for any damage not reported in writing at the time of delivery.

 

Delivery is only available during normal business hours.
